100 miles to summer, Nike+ Challenge
I woke this morning to find I am in first place suddenly for the 100 mile challenge.   It started a month ago, and I assume we have about a month to go, Summer officially starts 6/21, but I am at 94.61 miles, and could possibly finish tomorrow.  I doubt I will win, but it is nice to be in first so late in the race.  A few people ahead of me were well over 100 miles already, but have withdrawn from...

Quarterly Meeting
Well this AM, we had our first department meeting with our new fearless leader, Mark Heston.   He seems really down to earth, and like a nice guy, but as he said, “(his) motor is still running, I’ve only been here 8 days.”   I think though he is a good addition to Jeff Biomed, and may do some of the shaking we need.  Only time will tell.
